Fine and Dandy


This is what I wore to work today. In case you're wondering, the book I'm currently reading is 'House of Mirth' by Edith Wharton. It's about a young lady living in a superficial society of the 1890s, who is torn between desiring materialistic things, prestige, wealth and a real, honest marriage based on true love.




                                     PEEK-A-BOW! hehe



I am definitely not a car person but one of my friend owns this Willys Overland Jeep and this is a fine looking vehicle!! It's from 1947....isn't it darling?

Non sono mai stata appassionata di macchine però uno dei miei amici possiede questa Jeep del '47 e caspiterina devo dire che è bellina! Voi che ne pensate?

  13. Ahh The House of Mirth is one of my favourite books, I always cry when I read it, East Coast high society was so cruel to poor old Lily, after you have read the book you might like the film, which in my opinion was quite a good adaptation of the book.

Your grace, smile and confidence in what you wear and how you present yourself has me smiling. I love the old Willys Jeep. Your friend is most fortunate. I just watched the movie "Nicholas Nickleby", which was a wonderful story - You might enjoy that - the book is wonderful too. Have a grat day Caramella :)
