Zaful Review: Pom-Pom Sweater and Lace up Sweater

Hi dolls,

Hope you had a jolly Christmas and that you're enjoying your holidays. I think I've gained a couple of kilos and that's just from Christmas lunch! Good thing about winter is that you can hide your belly under baggy sweaters ๐Ÿ˜„ I used to think loose fitting sweaters just made me look like a sack of potatoes but now I'm obsessed with them (baggy sweaters, not potato sacks ๐Ÿ˜‰)! I think the online clothing and accessories store that sells the cutest sweaters is Zaful. In case you haven't heard of this low-cost online boutique, ladies and gentlemen (yes, they also offer menswear!), I highly encourage you to visit them ASAP! Just take a look at their unique selection of sweaters perfect for this season. Bye bye boring sweaters and hello staying warm in style!๐Ÿ‘‹ Let me show you two gorgeous sweaters that I'm wearing these days from Zaful:

Here I am wearing the Zaful Lantern Sleeve Pompoms Sweater
Isn't it so cute?? Just look at those furry pom-poms! ๐Ÿ˜
I gotta say not only is this sweater pretty and playful, it's also thick and warm so I also give it a high rating in terms of quality. The color is very particular because it's a mixture of pink and lilac and it's more one or the other depending on the lighting. ๐Ÿ’– The lantern sleeves also make this sweater special and what I like about it is that you can dress it up (chic style) and dress it down (casual style). Zaful offers it in one size and even though I'm not tall, I like how it fits me. It's super comfy!
The second Zaful sweater I'm wearing here is the
It's a beautiful medium grey, knitted sweater....
....and this is how it looks on the back! Oooh la la
This sweater is very trendy! Zaful is always updated with the latest trends, in fact. I'm so stuck in the past that I didn't even know laces were in fashion. My soul belongs to the fifties but I gotta say it's nice to dress like a "modern" girl every now and then ๐Ÿ˜Š This grey sweater is also nice and warm and I'm very impressed with the quality. I like how you can adjust the laces for a more tighter or looser fit. It's also quite versatile because it can go with so many different colors. I'm really pleased with both of these sweaters from Zaful. They're both so cozy and fun to wear! Zaful's customer service is also excellent. I hope you found this review helpful and if you check Zaful out, happy shopping and stay warm! ๐Ÿ’•

A fashionable winter with Fashionmia

Hi cookies!

Brrrrrr, I almost felt like wearing my woolen gloves to write this post haha. Oh, but I love winter. So happy that Christmas is almost here! What did you ask Santa for this year?? When I was younger I didn't like winter very much because I felt my outfit options were very limited: either a black turtleneck sweater or...a grey sweater. I wasn't very creative nor daring with colors. Now I've come to love dressing for winter! Soft, baggy sweaters, warm and fuzzy dresses, colorful coats, cute boots....and I know just the place to go for clothes to wear during this season (or any season for that matter ๐Ÿ˜‰): Fashionmia.

You probably already know about this online shop that offers a huge selection of gorgeous, low-cost clothes and accessories. I've mentioned it several times on my blog and reviewed their items too, which I continue to love and wear. The great thing about this online store is that they always add new items, keeping up with the latest trends. I'm obviously more into classic/vintage style fashion and Fashionmia also offers retro style clothing items! The diversity they offer is what makes Fashionmia a very special store. It's difficult to choose just one item when you shop at Fashionmia....you end up wanting to buy everything! Since I've been nice (and not naughty!), Dear Santa, there are quite a few fashion clothing items that I'd like from Fashionmia....๐Ÿ˜ƒ

As it's cold outside, a coat is obligatory and here are a few of my favorites from Fashionmia's Outerwear selection:

You can't go wrong with red (I'm sure Santa will agree! ๐Ÿ˜„)
How cute is this belt that turns into a bow??
A leather jacket is a timeless wardrobe essential and this one is perfect!

Now, as for what to wear under my coat, I have a few ideas....๐Ÿ˜
Let's take a look at some of my favorite Cheap Bodycon Dresses.

This vintage-style dress is just irresistible! I love the color combination, the bow on the collar
and how figure hugging it is! It also looks so soft...
Velvet is the latest thing -once a classic, always a classic!- and look at these two beauties:

You didn't think I'd forget about polka dots, did you?? ๐Ÿ˜
I just love this saffron/pumpkin color:
This sweater dress looks so warm and cozy ❤
Last but not least, here's a cute and classy dress that my wardrobe absolutely needs!๐Ÿ’•

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone! ๐ŸŽ„๐ŸŽ…⛄

My Trip to Japan!

Konnichiwa Guys and Dolls!

It's been a while since my last post. Can't believe it's already December! I also can't believe that last month I went to JAPAN. Japan was a dream, but the flight was a nightmare (13 hours on the most uncomfortable seat ever!!! Who on earth invented those seats?). The jet lag was a pain in the neck too but it was worth it. Japan is one of my favorite countries. I'll never stop being impressed and amazed by how organized everything is in the land of the rising sun. Everything is user-friendly, customer service oriented, people are polite and rules are actually followed! Oh and the variety of food in Japan is just......WOW.

I love how Japan is very traditional yet super modern at the same time, and how creativity and originality are infinite over there!!! ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜

My stay was very short but I got to spend quality time with my pal and
my hero: my ojiichan (grandfather). He is 99 years old and he's the best ❤

Needless to say, I love my grandpa and I love Japanese food so the first thing I did when I got off the plane at Narita Airport,
was eat a bowl of wholesome ramen:
Second stop: Ojiichan's home:
My grandpa Yoshi drinks Yakult everyday. He's a big fan ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ˜‚
My ojiichan loves to play shogi (Japanese chess):
Like grandfather, like granddaugther ❤
YAKISOBA NOODLES ๐Ÿ‘€
This was the first time I ever tried shabu-shabu! Delicious and fun:

Extremely realistic food models/samples that you see at restaurants in Japan:
Katsu Curry and a variety of desserts
Real GYOUZA (the most delicious dumplings):
Takeaway Chirashizushi:
Hot green tea and green tea ice cream....GREEN TEA HEAVEN!
I ate a lot but I also drank my favorite drinks:
Royal Milk Tea (it actually stays hot in this plastic bottle!!):
For Halloween, I was a pumpkin and I drank Calpis
(a sweet, yogurt flavored drink). It's SO good:
Soba noodles (made out of buckwheat) topped with an egg, green onion and tempura at Utsunomiya Station (yes, you eat these amazing noodles while standing!). This is Japanese fast food, baby:
No trip to Japan is complete without meeting Hello Kitty ๐Ÿ˜‰
Shopping is so much fun in Japan! You'll literally find everything under the sun (including peculiar novelty socks ๐Ÿ˜„):
Beautiful kimonos:
Candy and snack land. I went crazy in this store. I could live here forever:
I obviously stocked up.
Where else are you gonna find green tea KitKat, noodle snacks and
salad flavored corn rings?!?!
Saw the most beautiful guitar in the world at a music shop.
One day this Gretsch will be mine:

Another rockin' guitar is the Rickenbacker guitar, which The Beatles played:
A very oishii (yummy) bento:
Senbei (Japanese rice crackers), green tea ice cream, green tea mochi....
ANPAN!!! ๐Ÿ’š This is a sweet bun filled with a sweet red bean paste:

Here's my sweetest anpan ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ’—
