Owl Obsession / Ossessione per i gufi

Aren’t owls so cute?! I wanted one for Christmas but Santa didn’t bring me one :( Seriously though, those eyes…and I heard that they are really faithful. And they also eat little furry creatures. Might not be a good idea to keep one in the same room as my chihuahua. I also do realize that owls sleep during the day and stay awake at night (and will probably keep you awake at night too).

Oh well; for the time being I’ll be content with my owl dress and owl earrings:

Ma quanto sono carini I gufi?! Ne volevo uno per Natale ma Babbo Natale non ha accolto la mia richiesta! Ho sentito dire che sono molto fedeli i gufi. E che si nutrono di piccole creature pelose. Meglio non averne una in casa visto che ho un chihuahua….

Per il momento mi accontenterò del mio vestitino con i gufetti e i miei orecchini:

My friend Aury (she’s like a little sister actually) is obsessed with anime and dragged me to an anime event where everyone was dressed up as their favorite character. I don’t remember what she went as. Though I’m half Japanese, I prefer the older cartoons like Totoro, Doraemon (the blue cat!) and good old fashioned Walt Disney toons of course. Anyway here is the front of my owl dress:

La mia amichetta Aury è fissata con le anime e mi ha trascinata un evento dove tutti si sono travestiti dal loro anime preferito. Pur essendo metà giapponese, preferisco i cartoni vecchio stile come Totoro, Doraemon e i cartoni della Disney ovviamente. Comunque, ecco il davanti del mio vestitino:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 Speaking of obsessions, here is a bar of chocolate filled with delicious caramel (not much left of it now!!).

Parlando di ossessioni, ecco una barretta di cioccolato ripiena al caramello (non c’è un granché rimasto adesso!!) ;)
