Vintage Hairstyle

Hi Cats and Kittens,

I always like trying out different retro hairstyles on my hair and here's one that's easy to create. I use soft curlers, brush them out and then make a victory roll using a section of hair from the front part of my head. I've always wanted curly hair....I guess we always want what we don't have!

Mi piace sperimentare diverse acconciature retrò sui miei capelli ed ecco uno stile che mi viene abbastanza bene. Uso dei bigodini morbidi e poi creo un boccolo grande (tipo cannolo) con un ciuffo di capelli dalla parte frontale. Ho sempre voluto capelli ricci.....già, l'erba del vicino è sempre più verde! 

Anzi, i capelli del vicino sono sempre più belli!!

Mamma mia, che capelli crespi quì!

Instead of my usual winged eyeliner and red lipstick, I created a brown smokey eye and applied clear lip gloss to my lips.

Invece del solito eyeliner alato e il rossetto rosso, ho fatto uno smokey eye marrone e ho applicato un gloss trasparente sulle labbra.

A Rockin' New Year

Happy New Year guys and dolls!

How did you celebrate? I sure ate a lot.

A snack with The King

Having worn my Elvis apron-dress today, I just had to make something from 

The Presley Family Cookbook. This book is full of Elvis' favorite southern dishes. 

Since I had some wholewheat bread and natural peanut butter in the house, 

I decided to make peanut butter and banana sandwiches.

 I have to say, Elvis and I share the same taste in food!! <3

Though I have a big appetite, I'm a pretty lousy cook... 

I think my sandwiches turned out all right though. 

What do you think, are they fit for a King? ;)

Visto che oggi mi sono messa il mio grembiule-vestito con Elvis dappertutto, ho tirato fuori il ricettario della famiglia Presley e ho prepararato dei tramezzini con burro d'arachidi e banane. Una delle pietanze preferite di Elvis! 

Che ne pensate, questi panini sono degni di un Re? ;)

Cosplay and Comic Convention in Palermo

I decided to go as...myself; a Japanese 1950s gal. Being half Japanese, I really don't need to put on a costume at these events. I'm the real Japanese deal!! ;)

My friend's costume was awesome, she even made the sword herself!!

The Rockin' Days

My birthday is coming up and I realized that I never posted pictures of the little jukebox that my mother gave to me for my birthday last year. It's actually a CD player in disguise but it still rocks my socks off!!! :)
