Hi guys and dolls,
You probably have noticed that I am a bit obsessed with Elvis :)
In May (can't believe how time has flown...), I went to London to see the exhibition on Elvis at the O2. It was surreal. Even now, I still can't believe that I was actually standing there, surrounded by Elvis' belongings, his spirit everywhere. Looking at these pictures help me realize that it wasn't a dream!! Elvis' songs were playing in the background, his pictures everywhere, his story depicted and so many of his possessions displayed. You'll see everything, even his wallet, his documents, his keys, the books he read and the motorcycle he rode. It was one of the best and most exciting experiences I've ever had.
I wanted to get all dolled up for Elvis and at least do my rockabilly hairdo but it was freeeeezing and windy that day! Anyway, I'm sure Elvis don't mind :) He was as gorgeous as the sun!

Buon pomeriggio a tutti,
Avrete probabilmente notato che sono un po' ossessionata da Elvis :) A maggio (come vola il tempo...) sono andata a Londra per vedere la grande mostra su Elvis al O2. E' stato surreale. Tuttora non mi sembra vero che ci sia stata, che ero lì circondata da tutti i suoi oggetti personali, il suo spirito ovunque. Guardando queste foto mi aiuta a metabolizzare il fatto che c'ero davvero...non stavo sognando!! Se andate lì, sentirete la musica di Elvis nel sottofondo, vedrete video clip di Graceland, leggerete della sua storia e quanti oggetti sono messi in mostra! C'è pure il suo portafoglio, le sue chiavi di casa, i suoi documenti, i libri che leggeva e la moto che guidava. E' stata una delle esperienze più belle ed emozionanti della mia vita.
Volevo abbellirmi per Elvis, e farmi almeno i capelli stile rockabilly ma faceva un freddo cane e c'era un vento quel giorno lì! Comunque, credo che a Elvis non dispiaccia :) Lui era bello come il sole!
