Ready Teddy - My Teddy Girl Look

Hi guys and dolls,

I do love my flared out, 1950s style dresses and though I try to look like a pinup girl for my photos, in reality I nearly always wear jeans, especially in this cold weather. I've always been captivated by the Teddy Boy and Teddy Girl style of the fifties. The outfits I'm wearing these days are in fact influenced by this trend but as I'm singing all of Elvis' early Sun Studio songs, now more than ever, 
The King is my number one source of inspiration ;)

E' vero che amo i miei abiti svasati, stile anni 50 e provo ad assomigliare ad una pin up per le mie foto, ma in realtà mi metto quasi sempre i jeans, soprattutto con questo freddo. Sono sempre stata affascinata dallo stile Teddy Boy e Teddy Girl degli anni cinquanta. Infatti gli outfits che indosso questi giorni prendono spunto da quel trend ma la mia fonte principale di ispirazione è lui ovviamente: Elvis. <3

Ava Gardner hair and Charlie Chaplin pants

Hello ladies and gentlemen,
Hope you are doing well and keeping warm this winter. I've been wearing my high waisted wooly pants often. You can't fully see them in these photos but they're nice and baggy. I call them Charlie Chaplin pants! The other day, one of my colleagues said that this outfit makes me look like the Great Gatsby. I was aiming more for Ava Gardner but I'll take that as a compliment :D

Carissime e carissimi,
Spero che stiate bene e che vi state difendendo dal freddo quest'inverno. Io mi sto mettendo spesso i miei pantaloni di lana a vita alta. Non si vedono in tutta la loro lunghezza in queste foto ma sono belli larghi. Li chiamo pantaloni alla Charlie Chaplin! L'altro giorno, la mia collega mi ha detto che sembro il Grande Gatsby vestita così. Volevo assomigliare più ad Ava Gardner ma io lo prendo come un complimento lo stesso! :D
