I am a cheesecake

Good evening everyone,
I hope your week started well. This is what I wore to work today. The red matches the strawberries on the ready made cheesecake I had for dessert (I do not like to make anything unless it's ready made).

Speaking of which, I found out something incredible; a pin-up girl is also known as a cheesecake (!!). Google or Wikipedia it if you don't believe me! Hence, pictures of pin up models are also known as cheesecake photos. What a delicious discovery!

Spero che la vostra settimana sia iniziata bene. Ecco cosa mi sono messa oggi. Il rosso si abbina con le fragole sulla cheesecake che ho scongelato e mangiato per dessert (non mi piace preparare cose che non siano già preparate).

A proposito di ciò, ho scoperto una cosa incredibile; le ragazze pin-up sono conosciute anche come delle cheesecake (!), Se non mi credete, verificate su Google o Wikipedia! Quindi le immagini delle modelle pin up vengono chiamati anche cheesecake foto. Una scoperta deliziosa!

Double polka dot dress

Hello darlings,

This is my favorite dress; I've been wearing it very often to work and on weekends as it's so comfy. Check out the double polka dots...you know how I love polka dots, I'm a polkadoterian ;) My mother has the same one and we bought them at a market several years ago for a very cheap price. You don't have to spend a million dollars to look like a million dollars honey!

Questo è il mio  abito preferito; lo sto mettendo molto spesso sia al lavoro che nei weekend visto che è comodissimo. Vedete i pois doppi? Yipppeeee ancora meglio per una pois-o-mane come me! Mia madre ha uno identico e li abbiamo comprati al mercatino per 7 euro anni fa. Mica bisogna spendere una cifra per vestirsi bene!

My favorite retro skirt

I'm obsessed with sailor-style/nautical fashion.

This is what I wore to work today; my favorite floaty skirt and a striped (what else? :)) top.

I thought the sandals (purchased at a market) would be comfy as they're pretty low but ouch, the straps cut! I'm stubborn though so I'll put on five, thick bandaids and continue wearing them.

Sono ossessionata dallo stile marinaro.

Ecco cosa mi sono messa a lavoro oggi; la mia gonna preferita e una maglietta a righe (mai senza righe o pois! :)) Pensavo che i sandali (presi al mercatino) sarebbero stati comodeima ahi ahi, tagliano! Sono testarda però, quindi mi coprirò di cerottini e continuerò a metterle.

I prepared tacos for dinner. Easy and tasty, perfect for a lazy gourmand like me!

Ho preparato dei tacos per cena. Facili e saporiti..perfetti per una buongustaia pigra come me!

Retro box jacket and blue pencil skirt

I know, I know. I had said no more grey but when I see something retro, I don't care what color it is!! I found this box jacket at Sisley for half price. It's amazing how retro fashion will just never go out fashion. There's nothing quite as classy!

Lo so, lo so. Avevo detto basta con il grigio ma quando vedo una cosa retrò non m'importa di che colore sia!! Ho trovato questo giacchettino da Sisley, a metà prezzo. E' incredibile come la moda retrò non andrà mai fuori moda. Ci sarò un motivo ;)

Grey and peplum

Hello dear followers,

Here are two outfits I wore the last few days: a fifties-style peplum jacket and a peplum dress, both grey. I really like anything peplum as it's very feminine.

Ecco due completi che mi sono messa nei giorni recenti: una giacca peplo stile anni cinquanta e un vestito a peplo, entrambi grigi. Mi piace molto il 'peplum', lo trovo molto femminile.

My new haircut (it was about time!) - Nuovo taglio di capelli (era ora!)
