Hello everyone,

It's been a while. Can't believe it's already 2014. Hope you had a lovely Christmas, New Year's and relaxing holidays. I had a few days off but would need another vacation, that's all I'm saying!

Ava Gardner hair and Charlie Chaplin pants

Hello ladies and gentlemen,
Hope you are doing well and keeping warm this winter. I've been wearing my high waisted wooly pants often. You can't fully see them in these photos but they're nice and baggy. I call them Charlie Chaplin pants! The other day, one of my colleagues said that this outfit makes me look like the Great Gatsby. I was aiming more for Ava Gardner but I'll take that as a compliment :D

Spero che stiate bene e che vi state difendendo dal freddo quest'inverno. Io mi sto mettendo spesso i miei pantaloni di lana a vita alta. Non si vedono in tutta la loro lunghezza in queste foto ma sono belli larghi. Li chiamo pantaloni alla Charlie Chaplin! L'altro giorno, la mia collega mi ha detto che sembro il Grande Gatsby vestita così. Volevo assomigliare più ad Ava Gardner ma io lo prendo come un complimento lo stesso! :D

November update

Hello everyone,
How have you been? I've been very busy at work and it became so chilly all of a sudden here! It's no surprise I have a cold these days...will rest today and catch up with blogging.

Come state? Sono stata molto indaffarata col lavoro ed è diventato così freddo di un tratto! Sono raffreddata quindi oggi mi riposo e mi dedico al blogging.

The frog below was the protagonist and highlight of the evening. A waitress came up to our table and said 'Frog?'

 My friends and I laughed and were really puzzled because none of us had ordered 'frog' (it wasn't even on the menu). Turned out that inside this funny frog container, there was actually a Mai Tai which one of my friend's did order.

Questa rana è stata il protagonista e il momento clou della serata con gli amici. Una cameriera è venuta da noi e ci ha detto 'Frog?' (ovvero, 'rana' in inglese). Noi siamo rimasti perplessi perché nessuno aveva ordinato la rana (neanche c'era sul menù!). Alla fine si era scoperto che dentro questo simpatico contenitore, c'era un Mai Tai che uno di noi aveva ordinato.

Autumn Leaves

Now is the perfect time to listen to Yves Montand or Nat King Cole singing about the falling leaves. There's something melancholic about autumn but don't you just love the colors fall brings? Glad I had these pictures taken earlier; it's actually raining cats and dogs now. Time to pull out rain boots and scarves! Have a great week everyone  ~

E' il tempo perfetto per ascoltare Yves Montand o Nat King Cole che cantano delle foglie che cadono. C'è qualcosa di malinconico dell'autunno ma non sono bellissimi i suoi colori? Meno male che queste foto sono state fatte prima; adesso piove molto. E' ora di tirar fuori stivali di pioggia e sciarpe!

Spooky cookies

Hello everyone,
Here's what I wore to work yesterday (sorry, no time for a costume!). I thought of covering myself with a white bed sheet as Casper but that doesn't do much to my figure. I prefer looking like a vintage girl, dahling ;)
